The drive shaft was issue number 3 i purchased a used drive shaft for a 07 shelby gt 500 wich is what the transmission is for and then it was about 3" short and did not match the corvette rear end so i ordered a matching u joint and drive shaft yoke from dennys drive shafts and a peice of pipe then cut the old end off at the carrier and fabbed in the new parts

I have a lot of info on C4 IFS/IRS so if you need something feel free to contact me.
I may have some questions in the future about adding front coilovers overs to compensate for the added weight from hanging over the rack a little

Hey Garage Junky,
Just beautiful! I'd be very interested to see how your 6 speed works for you - I'm jealous - we went with an AOD so the girls could drive it too.

You garage is way too organized! I could send my 20 something son Zack over - he could have it looking like a disaster in no time for free.

So this obviously isn't your first restoration - What else do you have lurking in your garage?

Lol. My garage is actually not so organized lol . I built a rail buggy a few years back but other than that this is my 1st build. I know exactly what you mean about the kids making a mess I have two also.
