Well, the Super Mod thing just happened a couple weeks ago, so if there's one of those surplus piles I'm supposed to have access to, they haven't given me the secret handshake yet.
Money surplus I need a couple of those , well guys four days in AZ and just about burnt my truck, had a 4x4 shop install new front rotors and pads well all was good on the way down to AZ ( but ) on the way back BAM WTH , I thought I had a flat tire passengers front and my truck was working extra hard on the Engine witch also seemed weird so pulled over looked around at the tires , no flat but heavy smoke coming from behind the rim I said SHOOT not really but you know the other saying , had the truck towed to the shop , jacked it up and the wheel and rotor fell off the truck the rotor nut and washer was welded to the spindle the bearing well what was left , so all the new work turned into knuckle , rotor, upper/ lower ball joint, inter/ outer bearing with race and seal both sides I had all this work done before I left , come to find out the so called Mechanic reused the old bearings and never repacked them or the cavity of the rotor, so everything heated up , what really gets me is 80 mph the whole way across 2 state lines, I'm glad you guys are not reading about me in the News , home safe but my truck is still at the Doctors.
Holy crap Scott. Glad you are Ok. Who did the work? Want to make sure I never end up there.
Side note my Powerstop rotors and pads came in about an hour ago so by Monday,,,,,,,
Thanks guys , just make sure you Molly Grease pack those bearing really good also in the Rotors in between the Races needs a good amount too, he'll I would have been happy with Crisco better than nutin , Hank can't say but I can P.M you , made the deal with them they pay for work done from shop 2 new Michelin tires and they also throw in 4 new rims and I won't call BBB, my Attorney or my Sister lol
