Happy Monday Nor Cal. Hope everyone is still enjoying this wonderful liquid sunshine.
Bought an Xbox 360 yesterday. Told myself a long time ago I would never buy a gaming console, but I decided to bite the bullet and get one. Bought it off CL and again, I got a sweet deal. $85 for a console, two wireless controllers, a battery charger, and a small thin thing with the LA (oops St Louis) Rams logo on it, that I am told by my adopted grandson is for dance games. For that price I figured it would not work, but it was being sold by a grandma whose nephews moved to SLO, and so she decided to sell it.
Works perfectly after buying an HDMI cable. Only thing wrong is that one of the wireless controllers is missing the battery. However, the local Game Stop store has one for $7, so I will be heading over there after 10am to get one.
It came with Tiger Wood's PGA Golf game, so I looked on CL for other games as I am NOT a fan of golf. However, I did play it just to make sure the Xbox worked.
Was a beautiful day here yesterday with the exception of the wind. Made it seem colder than it actually was. Or, maybe it was the fact that I only wore a long sleeve shirt in place of a jacket.
