Dana 44

Hi I'm looking at buying a Dana 44 HD with disc brake and is the high pinion axle. It need the inner and outer shaft on the driver's side and I have a Dana 44 low pinion with drums in the front and I was wondering if I could just swap the axles from mine into this one

if the splines are the same i dont see why not. im not an expert

Are these solid axles or ttb axles? If they are solid axles you might get a better response from the late 70's forum since that's what year trucks they came from.
