I put on a 750 Holley 80507s 4160 vacuum secondary with a Stealth on a rock stock 460 and you can't make it bog. 11 mpg on the highway and 8 around town Towing on the hills running 55-60 up the hills while deep in the 4 barrel still got 7 mpg even with 16,000 pounds. I believe it could handle an 850 when running it hard. I would never consider less than a 750 for a 460. I wouldn't worry about the power valve thing. I have run Holleys for near 30 years and have yet to pop a power valve. I have tried other brands but keep coming home to my simple Holleys.
OK how 'bout this Holly 4160 750cfm from Summit for $259.00 . Now it says no jets, power valves or accelerator pumps. Is this a good thing ? Oh by the way if Hired Gun needs a place to store that nicely done 460 I'm sure I can have a compartment , I mean area availible @ no cost.
I missed on the part number.
It actually is a 80508s from Summit for 265.99
fuel line kit 34-160 for 23.95 and transmission kick down return spring kit 20-91 for 6.91
In the fine print it does say it has the power valve protection kit already in it. They have jets and a very good instruction sheet to help dial it in. It was very close out of the box. I have dropped the jet size in mine to squeeze a little better mileage out of it. It was jetted for good power and according to the plugs I could take a little fuel away without hurting anything. Every rig is slightly different.
I am happy to report my 460 is snug at home in the van now. It's so much fun to drive now that I do most of the wife’s short trips for her. Grabbing the bread and milk was never such a good reason before to go out and "feel the power." It's really addicting.

Wow I never would have believed it but Schucks actually beat Summits price by about $5.00 on the Holley 080508S 4160, then add shipping costs & it's an even better deal.
i had a 79 f 150 lariet with torker intake 750 holley factory cam advaced 8 degrees cyclone headers 3.25 gears; it ran 15's at 99.8 mph and got 12 hwy 10 pulling a trailer
