ATF Leak
Hi,
I have a small ATF leak at the shifting linkage connection on my transmission pan (uncertain of proper name for the part). It's leaking a drop or so an hour. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be getting worse (from a drop a day, to a drop every hour or two). Is there a no ring or gasket that commonly fails there? I dropped the pan to replace the tranny filter when I got the truck and at first thought it might be an issue with my new rubber gasket, but it doesn't seem to be leaking anywhere else. I will post a photo shortly. The transmission is an E4OD. The truck is a 91 F350 with a 7.3 IDI. I will post a photo shortly. Thanks.
