PMGR starter fit.

Hi.
I have an all stock 78' f150 with 351m & 4-speed Overdrive w/11" clutch.
( The ford 4-speed trans that came out in 78'.
Not the BorgWerner or whatnot.)
I want to install a PMGR starter & like to know what will work.
Did some research & I think one for a
1994 f150 5.8L manual trans should do.
So input is appreciated.

I don't know what PMGR starter you can use, but I don't think a 351W manual tranny starter is correct. I say that because my page on starters (Flywheels & Starters - Gary's Garagemahal) shows that starter to be D8TF 11001-AA while the M takes E1TF 11001-BA.
