What next?

Just got done putting a diamond eye 4 in turbo back straight pipe on, on my 97 7.3. That turbo whistle is sure a head turner as you drive thru town. Got a little work bonus coming up. Was wanting to put it in the truck. The truck is all stock other than the exhaust. I was thinking of getting a ts 6 position chip. But I'm also thinking of getting gauges. Which/what should come next

I personally would go with a 6637 intake to compliment the exhaust. It'll make it sound even better! And let her breathe easier too

^^this. Upgrade the intake before getting tunes. Something we have strayed away from is the HPX. It is cheap and easy and helps the truck run smoother. I would add it as you install the intake

It is auto. I do want to get a egt gauge in there. I don't pull or tow anything. Do you think I still should get a Trans gauge and is a boost gauge necessary? I don't want the gauges cluttering things up. Less is good.

Maybe a billet wheel for the turbo. Check turboost.com look for the SPX wheel.

Still good to have. Another thing I forgot is to add a 6.0 transcooler.

That's a safe guess.. lol will be ordering a 6637 intake from riff raff. Is the air filter that comes from riff raff the water proof filter or is it the same one Napa sells?

An Edge Insight CTS will do a lot of the things the gauges will do, and a lot of things gauges won't do. It is just a monitoring system that can read every sensor the PCM monitors. But, it will read codes too. You will need to drill and tap one of the manifolds to mount a pyrometer sensor in it for the Edge to read the EGT's. It gets boost pressure from the MAP sensor.

Is a ccv mod required when you do the 6633 intake mod?
