Did you spray it with Windex?
Could it just be those annoying capacitors? Our A/C repairman says to plan to replace those silly things about once every few years. I told him to leave 5 so I can replace them myself. He said he was installing his last one that he had on our A/C. So.. next time I will just go get one and replace it myself.

We had the capacitor issue with ours several times over the years. Unfortunately this last time it was the compressor and repair in an old unit didn’t make sense.
