spark plugs for my 302

I would like to know what spark plugs to use on my 1954 Ford f-100. this is pretty much a stock 302 1985 block but would like to run a little hotter plug. the only upgrade is a Performer [Edelbrock] manifold and 600 series Edelbrock carburetor. the engine has the internals of an early 80's block but I would eventually like to upgrade the cam heads and exhaust but can't do it right now. any help would be appreciated. I am also running a wolrd class T-5 tranny.

You say it is an '85 block but what heads are you running? Early model 302's ran a non- resistor Autolite 35 or a resistor Autolite 45. These are the 18mm plugs. If they are '85 heads and carburated then stock was an Autolite 25, 14mm plug. I would not run a hotter plug, if anything, after you do headers and cam I would run stock or one range colder, Autolite 24.
