I want some all clear tails for my 95 truck. where can I get them? I want all clear, not clear ones with red mixed in. Here is a pic http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2426287875 Any tips or help is appreciated. thanks
Hey there xxxcre10xxx! Didn't see any pics, but I know what you are speaking of. APC is the innovator of these tails and has the over-all best pricing and availability. You can find them here at FTE or at your local auto parts outlet. Make sure you keep the stock ones around. A friend of mine, keeps getting his stolen. I think he's on his last pair for awhile......

Yes, All States require you to have tail-lamps. Some States are specific of the type of color they have to be. The lens color ins't mentioned though.
Here in NY, they require that the tail-lamp bulbs, be red in color. And must have a reflective prisim for night time driving.
The brake lamp bulbs, must be brighter than the tail-lamp bulbs, but can be any color between Amber and Red.
At this time, I'm sure there are lobbyists out there going nuts over the "Clear Lens" issue, but I haven't heard of any proposals to change it.
I have found that by using the Clear lens, I can use a RED Sharpie to color the Clear bulbs and they work great! I use the YELLOW Sharpie for my turn signals.
The companies that have put the colored bulbs on the markets at rediculous prices, are using the same process. A 29 cent clear bulb, colored in can fetch $6.50 over in Stupidville, USA!!!

I just bought a set of the carbon fiber ones from Street Beat Customs, has anyone installed these? I was wondering how difficult it is. I guess if the one guy keeps getting them stollen it can't take too long!
Hey Guys! I like the look and texture of the carbon fiber products. Not the fake stuff! I just wish the price would come down. I don't know too many people that can spend $750.00 for a C.F. hood for an F150!
My neighbor, that keeps getting his clear lens tail-lamps stolen are mounted on the studs, inside the trunk! Even with the alarm, they were still able to get them a couple of times. He's got the stock ones back on. He put over 6k into the motor(2.0 Dodge) and is throwing around 425hp on N.O.S.! 300 w/o! No more crap on the outside, he says. Everything on the inside!
