Front drive shafts

Can anybody provide me with the lengths of the driveshaft for 4x4 and shaft from the trans to the transfer case? I have a 74 f250 originally a divorced transfer case but the guy removed it. Anyway I bought an NP205 and it came with a drive shaft. I'm not sure which shaft I have. Is it for the 4x4 or does it go between the transmission to transfer case? I don't want to get halfway thru installing the transfer case only to find out I am missing the main driveline shafts. Or if anyone has details about the shafts that can help me identify and know what to look for in salvage yards that would be great too! Thanks in advance

Oh yes don't I know that! I'm glad I "rescued" this truck lol the PO was of Hispanic decent if that tells you how his fixes have been so far. My least favorite "fix" is that all the chrome trim top and bottom have self tapping sheet metal screws into every piece!!!!! Cmon man!

I'm pretty dang sure the above photos are a 2wd d shaft stuck in a 4x4 unless maybe it's a SCAB or CC....that just aint right.

Google will show you pics with measurements. I could not steal the pic off of EBAY.

Edit: oh i see...no transfer case.

Is that the 4x4 or transmission to transfer case? Now that I think about it the trans to transfer case should be shorter right? So that should be the 4x4 shaft?

That is between front axle and transfer case. Heres a breakdown:
Rear to transfer:40in
Front to transfer:48.5in
Transmission to transfer:23.25in
That is with an Np435 transmission and Np205 transfer case.

Awesome! Thank you so much, that's exactly what I needed!

I haven't double checked but I'm pretty sure I have an NP435. I just bought an NP205 with a NP435 that came with it so worst case I'll swap that in.

Hmmm looks like my front to transfer is 23.25 but my "front" is about 38" and my "rear" is about 43". Looks like I don't have the right shafts to go ahead and put my transfer case in.... Looks like I'll be searching junkyards

Try the "front" shaft in the rear. And see how that works. Are your driveshafts fully extended in those measurements? Or fully compressed?
