Need help with my 64 f100 with 04 cvpi conversion

Hello all,

I was hoping that I could get some help with my crown vic swap. I've already done the swap and I'm going to be using the CV engine and trans. I am looking for a way to turn the 4.6l into a carbureted engine but am having trouble finding an intake to do so. Could any of you point me in the right direction any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

A google search on 4.6L carburetor conversion gave this
Edelbrock Victor Jr. 4.6L Ford Carbureted Intake Manifold Kit | Edelbrock
and others.

Thanks 62fordF250 I looked it up and called them (they being edelbrock) told me that this application was for racing engines and would not recommend putting it in the truck. What are your thoughts? would it hurt to put it on and use it as a driver? I haven't been able to find another that would work.

I don't know very much about the modular engine family. You said that you were having trouble finding an intake, so I tried finding one and that's what came up in my 1 minute search. Looking at the specs it performs best between 3,500 and 7,500 RPM, which most trucks will not see unless you race it. You could always put it on and it will run.

You will probably get a lot more attention, or at least some answers, if you post in the Modular V8 Forum.

Good luck!
