Hello all! Greetings from down south. Several years ago I stumbled across this site when I was just starting my build. Needless to say, I've gathered alot of useful info here and have also saved myself quite a few mistakes along the way. I have a yard full of Fords but my daily driver is a '94 Flareside regular cab that had the 4.9L/E40D but is now equipped with a 460/E4OD from a '93 Econoline. The factory F3's have been ported & decked .030" with 2.11"/1.65" valves, ported upper & lower intakes, custom grind Voodoo cam, BBK throttle body, adj. FP regulator, Doug Thorley tri-y's into full 3" single exhaust with a Dynomax muffler. I have recently converted to factory EECV MAF from a California emissions '97 F250 and average 14 mpg.
Looking to swap a eecv 97 460 into my 89 f350. Any advice on stuff to grab off the donor truck, like stuff you don't immediately realize you need? Thanks
