windshield wipers (wont stop)

in the last 2 months 60% of the time when i start the truck 2012 6.7 F250, my windshield wipers come on as if they were on the slowest intermittent.

i recently installed new LED headlights (second set), but i have not seen where they could be related. the guys at the shop say this is a sensor and the truck is sensing windshield in wet?

Any way to bypass this function?

is there a sensor that could be bad?

I have heard others with this problem replaced the wiper stalk to solve this intermittent run issue. Mine will do this every now and then; one swipe when I turn the truck on but its very few and far between to worry about for now.

I had the same problem and the fix was a replacement of the turn signal stalk. Mine was under warranty but they're fairly cheap and only held in with a couple of screws so replacing it yourself wouldn't be too bad either.
