1999 4x4 conversion help
Hey guys.
I have a '99 F-250 Super Duty 2WD. 5.4L is blown and needs to be swapped, so I am considering finding a 4x4 donor truck and converting mine to 4WD when I swap engine. Have any of you done this?
Obviously trans, transfer case & axle would need to be pulled from a donor truck. But what steering/front suspension parts would need to be changed? Could I use a NON-Super Duty F-250 as a donor for these parts?
Does anyone have a suitable donor for sale in/near Illinois?
