Long time listener, first time caller.
I've been lurking around on FTE for several years now and since I finally purchased a 250 I figured I'd finally sign up so I could start bragging about it!
The truck is an 01 F250, Extended cab short bed 4x4 Auto 5.4. My Mom and Pop bought it used in 2003 and it served as a third vehicle for my family for years. I learned to drive in this truck starting at 13 on gravel roads; I passed my drivers test in it (Including parallel parking!) in 2010. Throughout high school I borrowed and drove it regularly when my little Ranger (an 86 Diesel handed down to me by my Uncle) broke, which was.. often. I even rounded the bases (ahem) for the first time in this truck when I was 17. So, when my folks decided to buy an ecoboost last year, I sold my 98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited and bought this one. They made me pay book value for it. I love them too, I guess.
