I got a chance to use them early this morning, as I had to be at work by 4 AM. The high beams are OK. The low beams are terrible. More like fog lights without much forward illumination.
I've written to the vendor via Amazon's website to see if there's any method of adjustment. I don't see an obvious one. If not, they're going back.
yeah i have the same problem as you my friend, halo projectors are not good if you get them from an average company, what brand were yours? i have spyders and i must say, they give me more problems then anything else on my truck.

They were the ones from the Amazon link that is elsewhere in this thread. I could live with the high beam, but the low is horrendous. Worse than what fog lights project.
I have a complaint into the vendor. If there's no way to adjust these I want to return them. Too bad because they're a sharp looking assembly and I like the LEDs along the bottom.
I've got a Florida vacation coming up in a couple weeks and I'm not using these lights. The low beam just doesn't let me see far enough ahead and I consider it a danger.
I'll put the stock back in if I don't get any satisfaction from this outfit. Then probably have lose my *** on them on CL or ebay.
It's the same for me, but there is a way to aim them but only vertically, and you don't get much. As of now my drivers side is basically a fog light and my passenger is like a high beam because of how in even they are. I've spent hours trying to aim them but for the life of me I cannot get them right. I'm selling mine and moving over to 05-07 Harley lights, maybe come back to projectors later on but they will be from a custom shop that has a ton of great reviews. Hoping I can sell the ones I have now for at least $100 on Craigslist.
Stay away from this outfit for sure. I contacted them and asked if there was any sort of adjustment because of the low beams being basically directed right at the ground. They reply was that they wanted a picture of the defect. When I explained for the second time what the issue was and asked if there was a solution, I've been waiting 2 days for an answer.
So tonight I contacted them through Amazon again and told them that I want to return them. They have 24 hours to get back to me or I'll open a dispute with Amazon.
I had my truck at a local shop that does audio, alarms. lighting, etc. today for a backup camera install. They checked the lights and said that there really isn't much of a provision to aim them better. So it's either send them back or spend another $200 for my local guys to upgrade the bulbs. On top of the $357 I paid Amazon already.
Not happy at all with the product or the customer service. Stay away!
I have not seen anything about the LED's and icy conditions, so here it is. If you live in cold weather with ice and snow those LED's do not get worm enough for them to melt the ice and snow off the lenses in return bad out put.

Good to know, thank you. My local shop said that I could replace the low beam with HID for around $200 and keep this setup. Their take is that the HID take a short time to warm up and get to full potential, where the LED are instant. But winter driving conditions were never discussed.
But as yet I have an unresponsive or slow responding vendor from Amazon. They have until this evening to reply before I open a case directly with Amazon.
Thanks for the info and the thread guys. I've been on and off the fence about doing mine. The cold weather problems with LED puts them right out of the running for me. What about HID's? Same problems with cold weather, or no?
If I went HID, I'd want a full plug and play setup. I don't want to cobble something together with hacking into the stock wiring or cutting up my original housings.
I had originally looked at these, for that reason:

Anyone running this set with some real world feedback?
Just noticed this little tidbit in the item description of the '11 - '13 HID/Xenon lights that you link to: "We highly recommend these projector headlights to be equipped with HID conversion kit to maximize the lighting experience / performance."
Doesn't apply to the '14 or up for that particular kit, I guess. But in case other guys with those model years were looking.
Looks like they're going back. I just received an email stating that I would be receiving another email in a day or two with a prepaid return label.
Too bad. I really liked the looks of these lights but could not live with the very limited range low beam.
Even though the first person from the company to reply to my issue didn't really seem to understand it, it apparently has gone to another person and I appear to be getting results. Therefore, I won't go onto Amazon and trash them in the merchant feedback section.
I like the look of those lights that you linked to Slowpoke. I've emailed them a question regarding low beam performance and adjustment capabilities. Even sent them the link to the Amazon lights that I have right now that will be sent back tomorrow to give them an idea of what I have now.
I'll see what they have to say.
Pro Tuning Lab has gotten back to me. They sent a photo showing that there's a pitch adjustment on these lights. I'm going to give them a shot. HID Xenon + 11-16 Ford F250 / F350 / F450 Superduty CCFL Angel Eye LED Projector Headlights - Chrome
Because I'm inexperienced with this type of light, I need some advice on what to do for low beam HID color. Here are the options:
• 4,300K OEM white
• 6,000K Crystal White
• 8,000K Crystal Blue
• 10,000 Blue
• 12,000K Violet
Just guessing, I'm leaning toward the 6,000K Crystal White. Better than OEM but not annoying like the blue tint/bright as hell that I so often see at night.
But I'm open to suggestions from anyone with experience in the HID realm.
Hey Ponch, if you end up going with those, let me know how they work out for you. I'm interested, because it's plug and play, and I don't have to hack into my wiring harness. Plus I will still have my original stock lights if I ever need them.

I'm going to order for sure. Just waiting to see if anyone offers advice on the low beam color from my previous post. I only want to do this one more time. The first go round wasn't exactly a success.
