Others here report there are no new drums to be had. So you are looking at a junkyard type search.
Do you have any way of determining the dimensions of your brakes? Diameter and shoe width. Using the manual as a guide, and knowing the possible diameters, you may be able to get the actual dimensions.
Easy for me to say I know.....

What is the 3rd digit of the AXLE code? When decoded, the weight capacity of the front axle will be known. Also need the size of the brake shoes.

Rear brakes, see C800 in lower pic. Weight capacity is known (18,500 lbs.), but now I need to know the size of the brake shoes.

C800 brakes
Hi - I am a newbie from the UK and have an ex USAF C800 - year approx 1985 (I think). 8.2 detroit diesel - I am hoping to turn it into a ramp truck for my 1930 chopped model A sedan race car.
Unfortunately, the army decided to take the rear brakes apart and remove ALL of the internals!!
I am not sure where to start to get replacement parts - a user manual would be great so I can get part numbers
Can anyone help please??
Many thanks
David

But, Ford truck parts catalogs are not EZ to use, so how much help you will get from it...is?
In order to post the pic of the rear brakes, I need to know exactly what your truck is.
Certification Label glued to the left door face below the latch: Post the VIN and AXLE code printed on it.
Also measure the width of the rear brake drum and if you have brake shoes, I need to know their diameter and width.
Where you will find brake parts in the UK for this truck...I don't know.

C800 brakes
Hi - thanks for the reply !
I will be taking it all apart again in a couple of weeks time - so I will photograph and measure stuff.
The truck was never registered in this country so I don't have a VIN - so no exact date etc - not easy is it !!!!!
I will post some pics asap
Many thanks

DSO: 543839
54 = Omaha Nebraska Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.
3839 = Domestic Special Order number, truck ordered special by the original purchaser (it was not the USAF!), not "bought off the lot."
I suspected that when you said the AXLE code was P that this was a Domestic Special Order, because P only refers to the front axle.
But I didn't expect the DSO code to begin with 54. This truck was not sold to the US Gov't (USAF)...for two reasons. The DSO code is wrong, Gov't vehicle DSO's begin with 83.
It was painted 1B = Medium Charcoal Metallic. USAF trucks were painted dark blue and there would not be an exterior paint color code.
Missing first 2 digits of the AXLE code: The rear axle was not an RPO (Regular Production Order), the truck was sent out by FoMoCo after it left the assembly line to have a special rear axle installed.
You'll have to do some research to find out what it is. Meanwhile, back at the ranch...look on the brake drum for a series of numbers/letters and post what they are.
If the drums are original, they will have a Ford ID engineering number stamped on them.

M220D axle
Well - progress!!
I managed to find an ID plate on the axle - it is an M220D - serial number 17283A with a long number underneath
MJAAB125 1 E5HS4005DARA
Does that mean anything to nyone please?/ !!
I am after brake parts for this axle - slave cylinders, shoes, and all of the springs/clips that are in the drum as mine were all removed
Any help would be gratefully received - I am in the UK so would have to order from somewhere willing to ship
Many thanks

OK do you have backing plates? And do you have the drums?
Measure the inside diameter of the drum and width of the friction surface.
NAPA heavy/medium may have all those parts, and there are other sources as well.
Any other info on the axle plate? None of those numbers produces anything via search.
