B&W Companion Hitch for Ford with Factory puck system REVIEW

I posted this video in my "I told you so" thread, but in case you don't visit it there.

I'm reviewing my
1. Hitch
2. Tire step
3. Access Bed Cover

Thanks for sharing. I have the Truxedo bed cover that works exactly the same way. It's nice to be able to cover my Aux tank, out of site-out of mind...

I can't watch the video from work, but that hitch was my original choice to replace my old Reese 16K with picture frame puck adapter. Then I saw the Andersen Ultimate and loved the idea of only 45 lbs to remove. I also have a Truxedo bed cover and love it@

I've always loved B&Ws even before the puck system. Had them in 4 trucks now with the same Companion. Just bought the new base to go with my original head this week. Will put it in tomorrow hopefully. Call me old fashioned, but I love an all American made product from design to engineering to the steel it was made from. Oh, and the best customer service of any company I've ever seen.

Thanks for posting your video. I went in and bookmarked the tire step on Amazon. I have one question for you though. How old is your Companion? Mine looks a lot different but it is only a little over a year old. Mine does not have the flat bar handles on the base like yours does.

I am not too far behind you. I just upgraded from a V10 F-250 to an F-350 6.7L diesel to pull my fifth wheel. My 250 was a 2001 and my 350 is a 2014 so I had to buy a new base as well. I love the Companion as well.

Are you sure you have the Companion for the Ford prep package using the pucks or do you have the Companion for the gooseneck adapter pictured below?

My wife proudly refers to me as a Watch Guy....I don't mind that title at all.

Love the feel of wearing a nice quality watch.
This is today's winner.
