I just got the ts 6 pos for my truck with canned tunes. It works great, everything works right and shifts great. My question is what would you guys recommend to set it at for better mileage? The settings are; stock, hi idle, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp, 140hp. I was reading earlier and many people say the 75hp setting. what do you guys think?

If they are canned tunes, the hotter tunes will yield the "higher" mpg, but will also create higher egts. Have an egt gauge?
Don't have any stop lights. only like 2 stop signs and 23 miles mostly interstate. oh and I have an aftermarket aluminum radiator that keeps my engine wayyyy cool. the guage doesnt even hit the n on the normal.

That is NOT good. Diesel are designed to run near the 200* mark

With stock injectors, anything past the 50hp tune isn't doing anything anyway. You probably aren't even picking up 50hp in the 50hp tune to be honest. Without supporting mods like intake, exhaust, bigger injectors and turbo, you won't see those kind of hp gains from a chip alone. So, to answer your question about MPGs, probably the stock tune is gonna get the best MPG.
I do have CAI mod the 6637, straight pipe exhaust from turbo back, and a high pressure oil crossover line. i do feel the difference in all the settings.

The difference you feel is the timing, nothing more
Soooo all the chip does is change timing??? It doesn't increase the fuel output as well???
And if I dont use the two high HP settings i.e. 100hp and 140hp will I really need a egt gauge?? I'm not a hot rodder and I am so scared of wrecking my truck I won't use those until I have upgraded head studs and gasket as well as new turbo, intercooler, and bigger injectors. Those are coming later down the road. All that said I love it so far. I am trying the 75hp setting for now to see what kind of mileage I get. I take to same commute to work and back which is 23 miles of highway. will keep posted on what I get on the first tank.

After the 50hp position YES.
And YES on the EGT gauge. These trucks will run 1300* on the STOCK setting, so any more fuel and you you WILL met the engine down.
No need for head studs, or Turbo unless you are over 3ooRWHP
