Many prefer the one-piece guys as opposed to the original design because it removes one more opportunity for leaking/air intrusion, but I don't see anywhere near the debate on brand with fuel filters as you see with oil filters. I just installed the Napa filter that not only is the one-piece but also has a port for the WIF sensor. No complaints.

You can use the factory style wit the removable bowl on the bottom, but they are prone to leaks. I use the one piece one with the water drain built in. You can also get one with a port for the water in fuel sensor.
