Hi there , just doing a safety check on me F250 4X4 and notice play in front wheel , checked and it is in the wheel bearing ......are these adjustable ??? have done search and visited utube , and read manual, they all showed total replacement not adjust ...... all help appreciated ......

wheel bearings are not adjustable. when they are worn, you replace them.

 

The bearings on the 4x4 are unit bearings no repacking or adjustment. Just unbolt the old and bolt on the new one. The timiken ones are supposed to be good and I think its been said on here and some other places they make the bearings for Ford. Like alot of other parts the part store brands bearings seem to be hit or miss. Here's a link to the timikens if you want to go that way.
