pull the plug on the ICP and test drive it see what happens... if it stops, then you know what to do.

Waiting for the pigtail/ICP dio, seems like turbo test should be done to rule that out keeping the Injector contribution test for last save your penny's for that one .

Okay guys, pulled the trailer for about an hour today. It seems like this issue is 99% gone. The trip was mostly highways with hills and it worked beautifully for the most part a vast-vast improvement over the norm. However, the 1% there was a point possibly two, where I did have a hiccup, liken to the bucks that were the start of this whole thread but again - it was only once, possibly twice and after that hiccup it ran fine as you might expect. Do I need to give it more miles (I've read other threads whehre people say it may need 500 miles to work out air when you mess with your HPO, not sure if this ICP would count.) with the new ICP or is there possibly another suspect HPO system component

Put an ICP in it and call it done.... and don't cheap out, get a Ford unit.
