I know I'll probably get knocked on for this, but I'm looking to drop my 2003 F150 single cab truck. It's a 2WD.
I don't see any reason at all to lift a 2WD truck, and I don't really like keeping vehicles stock, so that leaves me with 1 choice. 4WD trucks are meant to be raised. That's just the way I see it -- with that out of the way, does anyone have any GOOD suggestions on how to's for dropping a truck?
I think I'm going to go with the GForce 2"-4" drop. It's very pretty expensive, but oh well. Any suggestions?

I thought it was stupid a few yrs back but after seeing a few tooling around town I like them now (if it's done right it looks pretty good)...........and like you said why lift a 2wd.
I have a 98 and im prolly going to get the Belltech 3/4 drop w/ 3" drop springs in front and spindles in back. I havent seen a drop spindle kit for f150. Who makes it. Also w/ a flip kit I wanna say that that was like a 7" drop in the back. I may be wrong tho.
Oh, 2003. My mistake on the spindles. You may wanna check the Western Chassis 2/4 or 3/5 kit w/ ctrl arms and adjustable shackles & hangers for a combined shackle/hanger drop of 2, 3, 4, or 5.
Here is why I favor the GForce drop kit. It doesn't use spindles. It has brackets, springs, and shocks, and "I've heard" it rides like normal. The price - $450.00 and I've never lowered a truck in my life. I've never even seen it done, so I'll probably have to get someone to do it. extra $$$ Anyways, I'm gonna check out the Belltech and the Western Chassis drop kits. Thanx!
