My experience with Rock Auto was bad enough that I'm not going back. LMC is good for some things, but some of their parts aren't of good quality, so you have to know what you are getting. My favorites are Dennis Carpenter and Jeff's Bronco Graveyard.
Friend got a bunch of stuff from DC. Mostly made in China and was junk. Also got a emergency flasher switch that would not fit. The threaded part that goes through the dash was too short. Their "tech support" said they just got in 1600 of the switches and they would fit. BS. I took an original one out of my 70 for comparison. The Ford threads were about 3/16" longer and fit the dash just fine, while the DC one would not work.
Rock Auto is great can get a lot of Motorcraft parts for these trucks for a good price. Also NPD has some good stuff they are the only ones I know of that sells sunvisors in the color that is not painted, LMC sells door panels but they are black painted plastic and only sunvisors they sell are black vinyl.
Watch what you buy from RockAuto. I bought hoses for my 84 from them. They were new. The bypass hose lasted about a year, before it went bad. Top and bottom radiator hoses are looking a little shaky after about 2 years. These were new but who knows how long they had been on someone's shelf, before RockAuto got them.
Once again my british car experience is of some help here! (weird how working on a tiny little british car is so transferable)
Anyhow LMC truck has a sister division who's website looks and feels EXACTLY the same. Its called victoria british. Many guys on the Triumph forum complain about spotty quality and I've had pretty good luck so far. Some of the stuff is unbeatable price-wise and the quality is A-OK for a driver and not a show car....but then again some of the cheaper parts don't hold up as they should. I had a radiator hose blow out on me in 6 months, with MAYBE 100 miles on it, tops. The car was barely being driven and the radiator hose split at the seam.
Anyway, quality can be spotty, so be careful what you choose from where. Junkyards and OEM stuff on evilBay, also here on the forums is a good place to start. I've been able to get tons of the small/regular maintenance stuff at advanced auto (The advantage of working on a good ol' american vehicle opposed to having to mail order everything for my spitfire) which always seems to have some sort of discount available.
