Today was the first time the check engine light ever came on. When I stopped, turned off the ignition and then restarted, the engine light was off.......but came on again after about 5 miles.
What I also noticed was that the collant needle was fluctuating....the needle has always been halfway between normal and cold.....but this morning, I noticed it moving to cold then up a bit, then down.
Later, I also noticed that when I was at an intersection.....and then accelerated.......Ranger very slow to do so.......I thought that the delay was due to slipping on snow/ice.......but not the case.
I will have a diagnostic done........but I would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks.
