Low Tire Pressure Light

Low Tire Pressure Light
Havent driven a lifted vehicle since my 93 Jeep Wrangler, needless to say, they didnt have these fancy sensors back then. I have an 8" lift on 37's on my F350. I have all 4 tires at 60psi but the warning message/light has stayed on. Is this something I am just going to have to live with due to the lift and tires or is there a way to disable it or caused by something else. Thanks.

when did the light go on [right after the lift/tires or just recently]
your info center should be able to tell you if the system can read all four wheel TPMS's or if the problem is it still thinks the tire pressure in one or more tires is too low.
If the system can read all four sensors and just thinks the tires are too low, you MIGHT be able to get the system adjusted to accept lower pressures, or you could add more air to the tires.
Otherwise, if the TPMS's sensors in each wheel are still working, but just too far away for the truck to read, or you want to run lower pressures than the truck wants you to [and can't be adjusted down], I believe you are SOL. You could take the dash apart and disable the warning light, but the warning message is still going to be displayed.

I've heard of some getting dealers to reprogram the system, but others have said they wouldn't because of liability. Larger tires are typically rated for less pressure than factory spec, so be careful not to overinflate your tires to shut the light off.
