I have just brought a 2006 F250 Super Duty XLT with a 6.0 diesel. I brought this truck to pull our fifth wheel. I have had the truck for about 3 weeks now and I am impressed with the power and speed. This is my first diesel and I always have associated diesels with slow but high torque. This is only my third Ford Truck as I have been a Chevy owner for most of my life. The main reason for Chevy was my upbringing. Being from Mid-Michigan and GM being the big employer you drove GM. When I purchased our fifth wheel last year I thought I could pull it with my Chevy, boy was I wrong, the 5.3 just didn't have power to get up and over the hills.
