Voltage regulator ford 400 engine
Hi Guys have a 400 6.6 Lincoln engine with alternator D8VF 10300CA stamped on it ,.
does any one have a reference number for the voltage regulator and pictures of it as i seem to be missing the item ????

Ford regulators, for alternators, are all pretty much the same in the days of the 400. They had both mechanical and electronic available. Both do the same job, use the same plug. Look online for a VR for a '78 Continental and you'll see what you're looking for.

I had to buy one for my 77/78 400 as it did not have one one it. I bought it at bumper to bumper but anyone has them. Just let them know. Then I got on the web and found a wire diagram as I am not what you would call a electrician I works fine. Good Luck I see that you are not in the states go really good luck.
