Bad ipr?
On my ford f250 with a 7.3 powerstroke if the ipr was bad would the check engine light come on?

Under certain circumstances it will but not always.
If you run the truck wide open and the pcm commands the ipr to close off some and icp can not reach desired pressure it will set a check engine light.

What is the truck doing

What are your symptoms. Usually it won't run.
Do you have a cel on?
If so what are the codes?
