Ok I have an early 2004 F250. Recently changed out the #8 injector and then had to replace the ICP Sensor. Was running great then while driving down the road just died all of a sudden. Would start right back up with no issues. Continue driving and I am getting intermittent power loss. Also noticed that when it would lose power suddenly the glow plug light would come on.
Codes are P0102, P0113, P0272, and P1000.
P0102 Mass or Volume flow circuit low input
P0113 Intake Temp circuit High input
These are just soft codes not setting a light off. MAF is plugged in and I will check wiring here later after work but could this be causing my intermittent issues?
If I was going to guess you have a bad injector coil.
If you recreate the concern easily then unplug #4 injector and road test.
If the concern goes away then suspect injector.
This is not to say you dont have other issues. But you need to address the pcm reboot first.
No the p1000 is system readiness concern, not all moniters ran.
The gpcm light comming on is showing a that you have a reset.
Sure you can ohm it and find something, but you have to be really fast about it and do it right as the truck stalls. Doing it any other time before or after it stalls you will test normal as the condition causing the malfunction will no longer be present.
So I would unplug it drive it on 7 cylinders and see if it still dies, assuming it does it on a predictable schedule.
Ok I figured out my problem. Wire chafing on the injector harness which I fixed. Started up fine wasn't having any issues then my truck died while driving down the road. Would turn over then stopped when trying to restart. Will not turn over, no injector buzz, and scanner will not connect to PCM. Checked all fuses and they are fine. Switched relays around and nothing. FICM has 48v . Starter works been tested. Any ideas?
Check engine light is on. Talking about OBD port? If so have power to not sure if the ground is good. I'll have to check that thursday. Working next 4 days 12 hour shifts.
I haven't been able to work on my truck but have read around. Once I check good power and ground on the dlc should I check pin 6 and 13 for 0, 60, or 120 to see if all the modules are communicating? If so what does each number tell me?
Yes that is correct.
0 ohms tells you both terminating resisters are bad.
120 ohms tells you one of the 2 of them are bad
60 ohms tells you they are both good.
The resistors are non servicable.
Theres is one in the pcm and one in the cluster

Im abput to go check it out but since I have had to make a few repairs on wiring could a bad wire also be an issue?
OK so I ohm it between the 6 and 13 and I'm not getting any reading. Put leads to gather and it goes to zero. I back track wires from ficm to pcm and they are showing continuity.
