So I put my rear shocks on today. As I was finishing up my buddy called and wanted me to move his Bobcat for him so I figured why not since it was the heaviest load I've carried and wanted to see what the Ex could do. As soon as o hooked up it was evident that I need some better leaf springs haha. Definitely going to order that Hellwig soon too. Pic for reference. I also installed a brake controller right before to so I didn't have a repeat of last week.
I gotta admit I was a little afraid to click on this thread....
Hahahaha yeah we call it the kitty on the job all the time and guys are always looking at us all the time like wtf. Especially when phrases like "Don't be so hard on the kitty next time". It's just our way to mess with people who aren't amongst our crew.

Hahaha everyone knocking on my Ex. The window is on the way. Lucked out and found one on eBay. Called and got it down even cheaper to $145 shipped. I called all the new glass places and they either didn't have it or wanted over $1000 which wasn't gonna happen. I would have done plexiglass long before I shovel out that for a damn window. I'm still waiting to get a set of towing mirrors. That's close to next on my list.
I couldn't justify spending money on Bilsteins so I went with KYB Monomax. I thought I had ordered them for the front too but I received 2 Ranchos in the mail so put those on the front. I also ordered a KYB steering stabilizer and the correct box came but inside was a sealed Rough Country one. Not sure what the deal is with Rock Auto haha. Oh well it's all on now.
That would bug me. I have Bilstein 5100's up front, and a Bilstein stabilizer. In the rear is Pro Comp ES9000's because I needed shocks and they are cheap, can't see them either. Which Rancho's did you get? Also call Rockauto and see what happened if your order is wrong. Did you use a 5% discount code?
I hope the 5000's are enough for you. I believe these rigs need at least the 7000's offered by Rancho. However if you swap the suspension soon enough they will get replaced either way.
Looks like you were loaded a little too far forward. You only want 10% of the total tongue weight on the hitch, which typically means loading the centerline of the machine just in front of the lead axle. Also doesn't look like you were using a weight distributing hitch either.
Before you go out and get "better springs" I would suggest working on getting your trailer loading setup perfected. It's hard to tell from that picture but it looks like you have to much weight forward. Bobcats are rear end weight biased and it looks like the read end is to far forward. I would strongly suggest you find a public truck scale and spend some time getting your axle weights dialed in.
