I think it looks confused.
Rim and tire package looks more appropriate for a lowered street truck. The spare tire rack is unnessasary for the tire size and clutters the lines of the Ex. The roof rack mounts are to tall and the light is all but unless where it is located.
It's got potential for sure, just needs to decide what the theme is and make a few tweeks.

I was thinking about the same thing, but I do like a good rear spare tire carrier... As for that roof rack could that thing be any taller?

Looks like he took some Yakima brackets and attached something to them. Either way it's not going into a parking garage or many drive thru windows with that thing.

My rig has a 4" lift, and with 35" tires is already at 7 feet tall, so most parking garages are not options for me. As for adding a roof rack, I have considered it, but DANG does his tower above his roof line!

even if it was lower it would still be restrictive, that's just the price you pay for the extra cargo space. my issue with the tall mounts is that it would make loading and unloading more difficult then it needs to be. Well that and it just looks funky.

Not to mention the increased drag, wind noise, and lower carrying capacity due to the leverage on taller mounts. CoG is higher as well when loaded. The last two aren't drastically different, but they're still different.
It drives me nuts when people shell out for nice lights and mount them so far back they essentially become useless for anything but obscene long range lighting. I'm a big fan of function over form. Having said that, I also like to make sure the function looks good - those cubes are all cockeyed and crooked, looks like crap to me.
