I have a 1961 f100, the other day I finally got it running to ride it down the road for the first time. But, while I was out enjoying the hard work I have done to get it running the shift lever on the column broke/came off. Could any one tell me what parts I need and how intense the fix will be. If any has a picture of how to assemble/disassemble that would help.. Thanks in advance

Assuming you have a 3 speed manual trans.
7228 pot metal shift collar that the shift lever fits into...has an internal bridge that connects it to the shift tube. Over time, the bridge begins to crack, eventually snaps off.
