302 for a 460
Hello,
I have a friend that has a 1993 Ford F150 ext cab 4x4, he had a fuel injected 460 and c-6 trans with transfer case, given to him, he want to rebuild the engine and trans and put them in his truck, we can build engine mounts and trans mount if the originals wont work or cant find one that will, but we need to know what all of the electronic parts we need to put this thing so it will run, we know the engine is heavier and have a spring shop that will build the front up to take the weight and the rear springs have been built up to the F250, he pulls a camper and is really just a big kid with know money but lots of wishful thanking, would like to know if anybody has done this or who we could talk to about doing it, we really want the fuel injuection and dont want to have to have a carb, any help or ideas.

i wanted to do the swap because of the power but then decided to build a 351ho, anyway, i was told that it would brake the from cause of power, if his truck is carb now you have to change fuel pumps, im not sure what all electricle you would need, my post is on here some where with just about the same name as this one you might want to try to find it and see what one of the ppl that answered had to say.
