my buddy lost his bolt to his harmonic balancer cant seem to find a new one
anyone happen to know the specs on this bolt? its a 96 f150 300 inline
I was told one from a 302,351 would NOT work?
anyone know the length, thread pattern and all the specs on the bolt he needs??
Mine is currently off, and I can get that info for you tomorrow if someone doesn't beat me to it (I need to borrow a thread pitch gauge from my buddy or I'd get it now).
I lose bolts all the time too. Put them in bags. All pics are shown in metric. So convert the decimal to standard with the power of GOOGLE.
The markings on the head should tell you the grade of the bolt. I forget how to read them off hand but Haynes manual has a section in the front of the book showing you how to read the markings.
I should also note if it matters, that my bolt came out of 93 f150 4.9l. harmonic balencer and pulley are one part and there is a washer that goes with the bolt as well.
