the other day I noticed a wet spot on the driveway where I park the truck. I think OH-OH. Check the coolant level - OK. check the degas - good pressure release when opening. I start looking around, don't see anything. the only sign of a leak is some moisture on the frame below the radiator drain valve. Looks like the hoses between the frame and the radiator (PS or Trans, not sure yet) that have the plastic shielding around them are holding some moisture.
I remember now that I used the block heater that morning, when I returned I noticed the wet spot on the blacktop. There was one drop hanging off the frame, def. coolant. Been driving it and checking it and nothing since.
Your leak is most likely the radiator. These trucks are famous for leaking on the driver side where the tanks are crimped to the core on the radiator itself. Aside from that check the rad hoses themselves..are they the updated ones? Original design had a single o ring(black ends), updated design has a double o ring(white ends).

I will have to check. The odd thing is that I have not had the problem since then...
Figured I'd throw an update in here. I have not had any problems since that one time. It's weird, it was coolant for sure, I even tasted it to be 100% on what it was lol. I do have the updated hoses with the white ends
I am happy to hear that you have not experienced the problem again, the radiators for these trucks are not cheap. If you end up needing the radiator and want OEM, the part number for a 6.4L is 8C3Z8009B and we have it available here: #8C3Z8009B: Radiator assy. Engine Cooling
I went and bought two new tires for my truck. They used floor jacks to rotate tires. Got home and I had a small spot of coolant on my driveway. I really can't image how this truck is "Ford Tough" enough to drive around a job site, when some flexing/jacking was enough to expose a coolant leak. But my coolant leak stopped, which is good, because I can save money for another radiator. Just crazy.
