Probably 50K, have fun without paperwork. Can you prove you were the original owner? They also don't like to warranty them unless they have had regular inspections by Firestone to detect problems.

Sounds like excessive wear to me. I have 49k on mine and have about 1/3 tread left.

I had about 36K+ on mine before tossing them for BFG's. The 'stones still had 30-40% tire life left IMO.

31,400 currently with a six tire rotation every 5-6 M....looks like about 50% gone.....no extreme duty involved. Lost one tire due to a 3/8 inch bolt puncture. Firestone said they would not repair such damage. Maybe I'll put an inner tube in it and use it for a spare.

There garbage! My 02 has 40K on the worse tires on the planet! My 99 came with Generals (60 plus K and handle real nice). Time to look for tires on my end, not too many choices in E range on stock rims? I went down to a D Dunlop 285 on my 99 and might do the same unless someone has a better idea as I beach fish, air down to 15lbs and still haul some stuff. trimman

Just a question. You guys that upgraded to BFG's, did you do it on factory rims? And if so what size in the E range was it and which tire? I'm long passed buying rims that cost more than tires as my truck will be gone after 3 years for a new one(thats about 20 months and another 50K) from now. As you might have guessed highway is paramount with a load but offroad aired down every week. On my older trucks years ago, D range 33x12.50 on 16.5 BFG's on 10 inch Alum worked but I'm not going for rims anymore. Those BFG's for 16 inch rims, whats the max in width? 285? trimman
