Battery light issue
I am a newb actually just sign up. I have a 1999, f-350 super duty, crew cab, long bed, 7.3 engine. My issue is I am in cold weather, idle my truck on and off most of the night, I noticed the battery light stayed on until I started driving after about 1 mile, I went off then came back on... I took it to auto zone the ran the test, batteries were great charging system is fine. Could it be just a sensor going south or just the dummy light is bad? The alt. Gage is reading 14-15, and it starts fine.... Help!! 😳Thank you!
