Replace races in a new hub?

Replace races in a new hub?

I had to buy a new hub for my 79 Bronco, and they come with the outer race already installed. I also had to buy bearings. The new bearings are National (Federal Mogul) and I was wondering if I should go ahead and replace the new races in the new hub with the ones that came with the bearings...It's not really any issue for me to do, but it will save me time to not.

Any downside or risk in using the pre-installed races?

Not an authority; Imagine bearings are limited to certain types of high grade material, as a set with specific tolerances? IMO, Federal Mogul is one of the better quality manufacturer's and unless familiar with the specifics of the outer races and I likely would not mix bearing with races?

Interested in other Member's opinion??
