navigator headlight bulbs?!
Hello from over the pond!
I'm after some help with my imported Navigator.
When I bought the car, the previous owner had at some point replaced the headlight bulbs with bulbs that were clearly not the correct ones for the car. I decided to replace them and bought specific navigator headlight bulbs but upon receiving them I noticed that no matter how hard I try, they will not fit in the slot in the headlight.
My question now is whether my car originally came with HID bulbs? How can I find out?

HID bulbs were never an option until 2007 I believe. Since you didn't post your vehicle information I can't offer much help beyond that.

Applogies, when I signed up for the site it asked for all the details about my nav so assumed it would post it in the signature.
I've got a 2003 (2nd generation) - is there any other info that would be useful?
Does anyone know the correct 'code' for the standard nav headlight bulbs? Or better yet, how easy is it to retro fit hids on them? I've seen the hids bulbs on rock auto - is it just a case of plug and play?
