'95, F-150, Need advice on springs and shocks

Got a quick, yet stupid question I believe, but just want to be sure before making the purchase regarding springs and shocks.

I bought a '95, Eddie Bauer, F-150, Ext Cab, 4wd.
It needs shocks and spring's. I don't want to do a lift, but want to know if I can buy springs and shocks for 2" lift and will it work. Is it possible or is it not. I just want to get to work on this ASAP. Will be ordering starting tomorrow for everything it needs.

I've never lifted anything, so I'm not going that route, I just want to beef up its stance.

Thanks again!!

Nothing wrong with a lift just depends on your use is all.

Standard rust, front and rear quarter panels, the front bumper has some on both sides.

Undercarriage doesn't seem bad. Just wasn't washed regularly.

It made it home 88 miles doing 60mph+, so...that's a plus!!

It needs TLC. Lots!! But I talked him down $800.
Oh....looked under the truck, there is a rachet strap holding the front in since the other tank strap broke.....??!!
No biggie!! I can make this work!

I got him to come down $800. After I drove it and my buddy and I did some inspecting, I started adding up work to be done.
Yes, tires look good, more than 50% tread and new alternator, new battery.

So your looking to lift it 2 inches over stock? I think that would give it a great stance and not make it too hard to load/unload the bed.

Those are my thoughts exactly. And the way it sits, may be because the spring's and shocks are worn out!

But, definitely want to make its stance more pronounced.

Nice "new" truck! I'm partial to the red ones myself.

I just put moog cc824 springs on the front of my 4x4 and I love the way it looks and rides. It really helped eliminate the rake these 4x4's have. No special shocks needed just KYB Excel-G's. She spends most of her time on the pavement. Definitely needed new caster/camber bushings and an alignment.

$70 for the springs, $175 for the shocks (I have 6), and $150 for the alignment with new bushings at the shop.
