Do you have something like a Scanguage II? You want to watch
the Vref voltage should be 5.0 ± a tiny bit. If you see 0 volts
it likely that you have a short in the Vref and that is likely to be
at the EBP sensor plug.
Check for codes and see if the MAF and IA1 is reading. They are on
the same circuit as the EBP sensor. This may not be the problem but
it's a very good place to start. Even if you have one of the older trucks
that use the inferred EBP the sensor is still live and a short will take things
like the throttle assembly out of service.
I think sometimes when folks set up an account and post here that they mistake this for one of those websites that has a tech lurking all the time to answer questions(for a fee), when I see posts that are a minute apart. I realize when daily driver is at stake folks get edgy, and want an answer yesterday. I'm sure we can all relate to the frustration of spending time on replies to help a newcomer out, only to go back through the user CP and look at old threads that never got a return.
Hopefully the OP is back for more trouble shooting, or better yet to tell us the problem is fixed, otherwise toss another one in the dust bin of "unresolved and lack of follow up."

Good catch. I had not looked at the posting times.
