If I use tow haul going down a grade (empty) of a mile or so whin I come to a stop I have a hard miss at idle. A hard acceleration stops the miss and won't come back till I use tow haul again. Also get a code for cyl contribution 1 and 4. I am assuming a bad injectors, but just want to get another opinion
I thought the same thing, but it is VERY repeteable. Never happens with out t/h and about 50% with. Same roads. Only ting I can think is air from cyl gitting into fuel system.
Thanks Sean, Don't know if I can make it, Lots of stuff going on. I might pick up a Snap on Modus I have been looking at and try that.
The FICM Volts stay right around 47.5 on the Live wire TS. The lowest I have ever seen is 46.

No I didnt. What do you have and how much? The one I am looking at is a MODUS that has 13.4 software, a cart, keyboard, external monitor. The bad I'd the bottons on the modus so have to use keyboard and battery doesn't hold a charge. I can get for $700
Sean, Just found your post from '12 on Snap On diag website about doing the cyl balance test. It looks like the modus with 13.4 will do these tests and that is one of the things I am looking to do. Also need to do ABS unit brake bleed on GM products. I am going to look at it tonight. That IS a good deal on your SOLUS, but I don't think it will do everything I am looking for. Looks like I might need a battery also. Looking at online manuals it looks like there is a different plug in for power and a separate one for charging.
