i am not sure it is a 4X4 if you look at the front hub it looks like it is a 2 wheel drive.
and as we all know, ford never made a 4X4 dually pickup.

There are no locks or automatic caps on the front hubs; it's a RWD truck. Maybe the seller listed is as "4WD" because there are four wheels on the rear axle....
Dayum, lookit the overhang on that camper. You'd have to be careful at corners that the back end doesn't swing out into the other lane like Big Bertha's be-hind and knock over a little Fiat or something.

I've got a spare trans, wonder if I could ship it and tools on a bus and ride along to drive it back. Nah! Way too far for me too. ;-)

I know a guy on another forum who's currently driving from SC to WI to pick up and drive home a 1956 Ford bus that hasn't been driven in 12 years.
Comparatively, swapping a trans should be easy as long as you know the trans is good.
