interesting - DIESEL FUEL LUBRICITY ADDITIVES STUDY RESULTS
#3
While there are many new products, how do we know the tested additives have changed? An attempt at a new study fell apart, so we only have this one to go on. Diesel Kleen is one that may have changed their product as it was a poor performer in the study.

well yes...new data is always good. there is both a need for understanding the difference between cleaners, lube additives, and cetain boosters as well as the correct use and expectation of performance. for example, DPF cleaners are usally used when its too late and there is a regen problem....the DPF cleaner is added and after a trip around the block a conclusion is made that it does not work..its snake oil.
