I know that there are a lot of campgrounds in Lake George. And the ones that are mentioned here are good camping with kids. Are there any recommendations for places with 50amp and quiet. With the fifth wheel we look for pull thru ease, and 50 amp. Our camping is a little odd, we camp but go places to see what's in the area for restaurants and things to see. Weather landscapes scenery or places to walk and look at store fronts.
I would say the Lake George RV park is going to be your best bet. It is rather quiet, right close to the village and smack dag in the middle of the ADK park so there are lots of things to see and do that are a close drive from the camp ground.
We just found a new campground in Lake George.... this will be it's 3rd season open coming up..... Moose Hillock Campground..... The whole concept of this RV park is massive, oversized sites.... I mean HUGE..... you could park 3 or 4 big RV's on them that's how big they are.... spaced out too so you are somewhat far from your neighbors..... we'll be trying this place out this summer for sure... it has an epic swimming pool as well.
Ive been there, that's a nice camp ground for sure, very clean, lots of stuff for the kids to do. Its actually owned by the same folks that own the LG RV Park.
BTW my site is booked for the Memorial Day weekend, so if anyone is at the RV park Id love to meet ya!!
