hey guys im new to this forum and new to owning fords...well except for the old ford tractor i had anyway i recently bought this cool old 64 Ford F350 its solid enough but the poor old girl has been robbed blind for parts the straight 6 turns over an fires but the rad thats in it isnt connected and to be honest i dont think its event the proper one just looking at the way the hoses would have to hook up so ill be asking alot of dumb questions the end goal is something i can use to haul around my antique tractors to shows and maybe my race quad to some events as well im not doing a ground up resto in fact i love the way it looks right now ill do some cleaning up and repairs on the body as needed and lengthen the bed back out proper
did some tinkering today... seems some fellow installed an electric fuel pump on my truck and this made life so much easier so i skipped using the stock fuel tank in favor of a pony tank i did not like the smell coming out of the filler neck ( project for another day) hooked it all up turned the key on an off a couple times and the beast fired up and stayed running on the 3rd try sounded solid no funny noises but without the rad hooked up i only let it run for about 5 minutes the carb leaks from the one side so ill need a rebuild on it looks like all the wiring has been messed with lots of little things to fix and the breaks dont work bit it did want to move when it was in gear... im starting a mile long list of repairs
