I've been done since I saw the original outline...white is God's color for Ford vans. I had a black '96 GMC van before my E150 (which is purposely white--the dealer had every color in stock and I thought about dark blue but nah).

The black GMC was an oven in the summer and looked really bad about 2 hours after a wash.

And somehow a van kept over many years always gets a panel whacked here or there and painting the whole side stinks. WAY worse with graphics or stripes. My '86 GMC was 2-tone metallic gray on the right side after my wife was hit by a parked car (cough)... White is easiest to match, and there are lots of Oxford white body parts in junkyards.

Looks like mine, all white. No coloring needed.
I just removed the windows.

Same here!

I've thought of other colors but having a '97 with metallic dark blue that was peeling off the body (water borne primer issues that year) it looked like a disease-ridden animal with bits of flesh falling off: Zombie-like maybe?

White's advantage is not showing all the dirt and road grime I'm too often too lazy to clean away---any other color and I'd feel a bit worse for neglect but not enough to do much about it.

Actually, silver or light gray, gold, or better yet, a metallic platinum/beige color, are better for not showing dirt than white but they put you into the metallic matching if you have to have a panel repainted. I had an Acura TL in a light platinum metallic and that beat even white hands down--it almost never looked dirty unless it was winter salt season.

I like that my van will fit thru an automatic car wash in any case...

For those suffering the winter storm, this would be comforting.

Very nice Jim !!

White is not actually a color, white is the absence of all color so it doesn't count as a valid entry
